My Arrival

I have been interested in photography since I can remember. Over the last ten years it has developed from a mere interest into a full blown passion. I have dreamed over the last several years of making photography a bigger part of my life and ultimately my career. I guess this is one of the first steps I am making to make that dream a reality. Get myself out there, show my work. I am mostly self taught and have always wanted to further my education and experience therefore, I have just enrolled at the New York Institute of Photography for the Professional Photography course which will take about a year to complete. I am beyond excited about this cannot wait to dive into it!
I have shot several weddings, family portraits, maternity shots, landscape/wildlife and commercial so my experience is broad and I will share all with you! I want to use this blog as a way to share my work and I would love to hear feedback on my photos (both good and bad!). So I'll dive right in and share of few of my shots.

This was taken in Sept '07 in Yellowstone National Park.

This past weekend was the Horse Drive in Three Forks. Instead of trucking their horses from winter to summer pastures, Montana Horses do an old fashioned horse drive which goes right down Main Street. I liked the perspective of this picture, different from most of the shots I've seen from the drive.

My dear friend, Crystal was about 8 months pregnant in this picture! It's one of my favorite shots from her maternity shoot. Baby Samuel has since arrived and I can't wait to do some shots with him as well!

Like I said above, I would love feedback, so please let me know what you think.
